Author Guidelines

 

Manuscript Criteria

To be published by the IJEMBM Journal a Manuscript that has at least several criteria, including:

1. Using the scientific method

2. Mastering the field of science

3. The results of the study can attract other researchers

4. Contributing in the field of science according to the scope of the subject of the IJEMBM journal 5. Having strong and accountable conclusions

 

Review Process

1. The author sends the manuscript through Online Submission / Email

2. Make a copy of the file and Rename the file with the [Original] inventory code (code)

3. Edit the script according to the template

4. Making a continuous line number / paragraph section

5. Eliminating the Author ID / doc properties via MSWord

6. Create an article database in GDrive (Article inventory) per folder and in MSExcel (Article inventory)

7. Screened for plagiarism using Turnitin Plagiarism Checker. If more than 30% of the manuscript will be rejected or revised.

8. The manuscript is reviewed by 2 experts (internal and external / mitra bestari)

 

Based on reviews from these experts, IJEMBM can decide whether or not the text can be published with the following conditions:

1. Accept and publish with or without revisions

2. The text is revised by the author

3. Manuscripts are rejected on the grounds that plagiarism is above 30%, too simple, cannot interpret problems and other technical problems.

 

Author Charge

Submission and processing to the IJEMBM are free of charge.

 

Submission of Manuscript

The author must be able to ensure that the manuscript to be sent has been perfect in terms of content, layout and can ensure that the text has never been published by any journal. Manuscripts can be written in English or Indonesian with a total of words between xxx - xxxx words including references and attachments. IJEMBM recommends that the text be submitted in MS Word format.

 

Style of Manuscript

Manuscripts are written in A4 paper format with a left margin of 3cm, right 2cm, above 3cm, below 2cm, Times New Roman font 12 and 1 space. The following are the contents of the text:

 

Page 1 contains the title, full name without abbreviation, affiliate, e-mail address.

Page 2 contains abstracts of 300 words including keywords. Abstracts are structured arranged containing objectives, methods, results and conclusions. The keyword contains 5-7 words.

Page 3 contains an introduction, a literature review, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions, references and attachments. All research methods must be explained in detail to avoid errors in delivering results or information. The use of foreign terms or terms that are not commonly used must be explained. The author must explain the software if the method is used in the text.

 

Tables and Figures

Numbering tables and images using Arabic numbering format which is accompanied by a description of the table or image as an example Table 1. xxx, Figure 1. xxx. The author must place the description of the table above the table in question and vice versa the description of the image must be under the picture in question. The author must include the source of the table and image if the item is an excerpt and the source must be under the description of the image referred to as a contributor Source: xxx. Authors must use original tables or images and not those from screenshots or others to avoid errors in the layout of the script.

 

References

The author must be responsible for all sources of information or quotations contained in the text. The reference list must follow the APA citation standard. References used in tables and figures must also be contained in the reference list. The reference list is arranged by the alphabet, if there are more than 3 authors, then write the first author enough and then followed by et al. The following is an example of a suggested reference list:

Sherman, A.J., and M. A. Hart (2006), Mergers & Acquisitions: From A to Z, 2nd Ed, AMACOM: American Management Association, New York: USA.

Dermine, J. (2008), Bank Valuation & Value-Based Management: Deposit and Loan Pricing, Performance Evaluation, and Risk Management, McGraw-Hill Finance & Investing, New York: USA.

References to journal articles should be written as;

Tournemaine, F., and C. Tsoukis (2010), “Status, Fertility, Growth and the Great Transition”, The Singapore Economic Review, vol. 55, no. 3, September 2010, pp. 553-574.

Abbreviations and Acronyms

Acronym is a combination of the first letters of several words or a short form of the original word. Acronyms and abbreviations are generally used to help readers understand complex terms and help simplify sentences. Following are guidelines for using the acronym:

1. Abbreviations or acronyms must be known by the public. If not the use of abbreviations or acronyms must be explained first, including their use in the abstract, the contents of the text and description of images and tables.

2. The use of abbreviations or acronyms must be kept to a minimum to maintain the quality of the contents of the text and avoid misinterpretation of information to the reader.

 

Acknowledgements

Personal acknowledgments should be limited to appropriate professionals who contributed to the paper, including technical help, financial or material support, and general support by a department chairperson.


Proof

When the script has been viewed by the editor's team the author is not allowed to add or subtract or any other actions that can change the contents of the text. The author is only allowed to make small changes such as punctuation. Evidence must be returned within ... days after receipt of the manuscript via e-mail or system. If the editor does not accept the results of the manuscript improvement for 1 week the editor's team will assume that the text has no errors and the team will unilaterally decide which part of the text to be corrected.

 

Submission Preparation

To maintain the authenticity and quality of the contents of the script the author must comply with the following rules before sending the file to IJEMBM:

1. The author states the authenticity of the submitted text has never been published or presented at any scientific activity or has never issued a statement to the 3rd party for publication

2. Authors must comply with all rules set by the IJEMBM. IJEMBM can reject all submissions from the author if they do not follow the rules.


Copyright

The author realizes that the manuscript that has been published will be owned by IJEMBM, therefore it is recommended to the author before signing the submission document for the publication of the manuscript to read carefully first.


Authorship Criteria

Through the following statement I and my co-authors stated that:

1. The manuscript sent is the original text and the author is not involved in acts of fraud, forgery or plagiarism in the writing of the script.

2. Manuscripts do not contain utterances of hatred, slander, incitement or provocation and do not violate privacy, copyright according to applicable rules.

3. The author has reviewed the contents of the manuscript and agreed to IJEMBM to publish the manuscript.

4. The author has reviewed the script and agreed to IJEMBM to publish the manuscript.

5. The author has carefully read the publishing agreement and signed the agreement document.

EMERGING MARKETS: BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT STUDIES JOURNAL

 

Manuscripts submitted are original works and do not violate or are not involved in fraud and copyright and plagiarism. Manuscripts have not or are not in the process of being published in other journals / publications. The author submits all copyrights contained in the manuscript to IJEMBM. Therefore the author agrees to transfer copyright by filling out the submission form. The author is expected to submit the copyright submission statement form together with the submission of the manuscript. Forms and texts can be sent in the form of softcopy (scan / scan). After the text has passed the editing process, the author sends the original form to the editorial address of IJEMBM.

 

STATEMENT OF TRANSFER RIGHTS


IJEMBM has the exclusive right to reprint, distribute, translate in electronic or printed form or other forms from the time the text is received for publication.

The author guarantees the authenticity of the manuscript and the author has full authority and awareness in submitting copyright to IJEMBM.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

All parties involved or contributing directly and indirectly in making the manuscript have been disclosed. I also confirmed that all affiliates with individuals or entities that could lead to conflict in the future have been resolved.

 

Privacy statement

Other names and identities received by IJEMBM only used for the purpose of the IJEMBM journal will not be submitted to other parties that conflict with the objectives of IJEMBM.

 

Publication Ethics

The IJEMBM Journal is a scientific publication that publishes research results covering economic and business fields that have not or are in the process of being published. Statement of ethics of publication is a statement from all involved in the publishing process of the IJEMBM journal which includes managers, editors, mitra bestari and authors. Publicity ethics is a statement to uphold a neutral attitude free from the pressure or influence of any party, justice and honesty in each of the publishing processes.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of Journal Managers.

1. Determine the name of the journal, the scope of the scientific field, the submission of accreditation, determine the frequency of publication.

2. Establish rules regarding IPR

3. Make writing guidelines

4. Manage funds

5. Prepare all permits

6. Manage relationships between editors, reviewers and other parties involved and a contract.

 

Author's Duties and Responsibilities

1. The author writes the script based on accurate research results

2. The author uses standard scientific writing rules

3. The author uses sources that are trustworthy and free of plagiarism

4. The author can ensure the manuscript has not or is in the process of being published in another publication

5. The author has agreed on the roles of each contributor including determining who will be the first author, second and so on.

6. The author has resolved the problems that arise or will arise in the future with all the affiliates and contributors to the text

7. If errors or problems are found, the author must submit the problem to the journal manager.

8. Authors must submit to the rules set.

 

Editor's Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure that the information contained in the text can be understood by the reader

2. Perform and submit corrections, objective clarification

3. Ensure the confidentiality of the manuscript and the author to any party.

4. Can meet the target date of publication

5. Actively provide positive suggestions, input and recommendations to all journal publication parties

6. Subject to the rules set by the journal manager

 

Duties and Responsibilities of Mitra Bestari / Reviewer

1. Ensure information in the text is in accordance with the scope of the field of science and can be understood by the reader

2. Maintain privacy and prioritize honesty and attitude of objectivity

3. Actively providing positive suggestions, input and recommendations to all journal publication parties.

4. Can meet the target date of publication

5. Subject to the rules set by the journal manager
